Last Sunday, I had the most special lunch in my life! That was the first time I spent three thousand dollars on lunch. I hardly can believe that so much money suddenly disappeared in my wallet in just a few hours.
Believing that you must be very curious about which kind of the food is so expensive, and if it was really delicious and deserved this astonishing price. In fact, what I ate is merely hot pots. As for the reason why I spent so much money on them, it is because that few months ago, I started to earn pocket money as a Math and English tutor. Recently, I just got the salary and Mom said that I had to share the money with all my family members. Therefore, in order to show my generosity, I decided to buy them big meals. That's why I spent so much money on that lunch.
Before that day, sometimes I would take buying people an expensive meal as a foolish behavior. However, after that day, I totally understand how wonderful it is because you can show your gratitude to others in such a good way.

回覆刪除It’s hard to believe that you were willing to spend NT$3000 on lunch, because I am even not willing to spend NT$300 on lunch. I hope I also have ability to treat my parents to dinner. However, I have no time to do a part-time job. Besides, I didn’t understand why some people like treating others to meals before. But now how I hope I can treat my family or friends to dinner.
Wow! Three thousand dollars!! It was so amazing. I am curious which restaurant you chose to treat all your family members. I think it must be famous and delicious. I like to treat people because I feel happy to see their smiles when they receive. Though it may be a little sad to use our own money, it is blissful to share with my family and friends. Your family member must be happy to eat the hot pot without spending money.

回覆刪除You must be a good son, and I believe you might be a great tutor, too. After all, three thousand dollars were such a large amount of money for our college students. You not only are capable of earning the money by yourself, but also spend it for your family generously. By the way, I also have had an experience of spending much money in a day. I bought expensive dance clothes and had a wonderful meal then, which cost me over three thousand dollars! So crazy we were!
